Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients and their families.
- Manage emergency situations and serve as circulating nurse for C-sections.
- Supervise and delegate care to ancillary personnel commensurate with scope of practice.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with the obstetric team and educate patients and families about care plans and expected outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and high standards of cleanliness and organization within the unit.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work nights; available for 3x12-hour shifts.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery or perinatal care preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) and eligibility to practice in California.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a high-acuity setting.
