Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description: The Surgical Technologist will work in the CVOR unit, collaborating with the surgical team to provide quality patient care during various cardiac procedures. The role involves maintaining sterile conditions, assisting physicians during operations, and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
• Assisting with CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomies, ECMO, pacemakers, tracheostomies, and maze procedures.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Surgical Technologist certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle fast-paced environments efficiently.
