Duties Assist stylists with preparing clients for hair services, including shampooing and conditioning treatments Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations, including sterilizing tools such as scissors, razors, and brushes Support with hair treatments such as coloring, highlighting, hair extensions, and threading under supervision If needed, manage front desk responsibilities like greeting clients, scheduling appointments using salon software like Booker, and handling retail sales Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their needs and preferences Qualifications Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a cosmetology background is preferred but not required; we do accept interns, however a passion for learning is essential Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY/Booker or similar platforms for appointment scheduling and client management preferred, but we will train if needed Familiarity with hair care techniques including hair styling and coloring Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members We accept internships, however if you have graduated you must have a current Massachusetts Cosmetology License Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to enhancing beauty through expert service and personalized care!
