Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Customer Service Representative/ Office Assistant to act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and other departments within a company in Moody, AL. Processing orders, assisting with complaints, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations, payments and order follow-ups and other inquiries.

Pay Rate
$18.00 - $20.00hr. depending on experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm

Customer Service Representative/ Office Assistant - Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service Representative

• Enter and process customer orders, changes, and returns according to procedures and policies.
• Listen, document, and help resolve conflicts with customers.
• Answer questions or handle complaints from customers.
• Forward phone calls, emails, and requests for information.
• Provide information to customers about order status and product inquiries.
• Attend order status meetings then send communication to customers on the same day.
• Communicate requests from customers to sales/production.
• Establish new customer accounts, enter account information.
• Select appropriate responses to customer issues and work to resolve them.
• Refer advanced cases to management (Sales/ production/ GM) for resolution, providing background information.
• Track and assist with freight related issues
• Contact customers to verify and update account information.
• Answer questions about terms of sale and refer advanced cases to sales department.
• Answer product and service questions or refer to appropriate salesperson.
• Assist sales department with communicating changes and information to customers.
• Other assignments as requested by immediate supervisor or senior management.

Office Assistant

• Greet guests professionally.
• Organize and maintain filing systems
• Organize and maintain common office areas
• Send weekly customer past due invoices and follow-up emails.
• Work closely with the account receivables and credit department to assist in dispute resolution.
• Assist Accounting/ Office Manager with various projects.

Customer Service Representative/ Office Assistant - Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent .
• Good attention to detail.
• 1-3 years of experience in a food service or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast paced environment, multitasking while keeping focus on the customer.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and office systems.
• Excellent listening skills with an empathetic voice and manner.
• Dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to pass a computer test.
• Ability to pass National Background check and Drug Screening.

Full-time, temporary to hire
