Lead Generative AI / Agentic AI Engineer

Position: AI Engineer- Contingent Location: Columbus, Ohio Duration: Contract W2 contract only Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. This role involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel. Responsibilities: Build and enhance multi-agent AI orchestration platforms and automation frameworks. Develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications supporting AI-powered experiences. Design and implement Generative AI solutions using modern agent frameworks. Partner with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver innovative AI capabilities. Drive technical excellence, scalability, security, and performance across solutions. Rapidly prototype and deploy AI solutions that improve productivity and efficiency. Qualifications: 5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. 7+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications. Strong experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, and Bootstrap. 2+ years of hands-on experience building Generative AI applications. Experience with ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies. 5+ years designing and building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results with minimal oversight. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms and AI solution deployment. Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns. Pay Range: $70-75/hr. on W2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
