We provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, Automation, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair.The Portal Billing Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate invoice submission through customer payment portals. This role manages daily portal billing activity, follows up on rejected invoices, processes credit card payments, and partners with internal teams to resolve billing issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Essential FunctionsEnter and submit customer invoices through online payment portals accurately and within required deadlines.Monitor portal submissions and follow up on rejected invoices to ensure timely resolution and resubmission.Review the invoicing mailbox and route invoice rejections and billing issues to the appropriate Analyst or Customer Service Representative.Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with internal teams to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.Process customer credit card payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures.Identify and resolve billing issues while maintaining accurate records and documentation.Experience, Education and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous billing, credit, accounts receivable, or portal billing experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and follow-up skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the initiative to identify and resolve issues independently.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
