The success of SCC is rooted in the mission of serving the community by "focusing on academic excellence, student success, workforce advancement, and life-long learning within a global society."We are seeking part-time, Student Assistant Food Service to work in the SCC coffee shop and food service area, helping to provide excellent service to our customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Perform register transactions.Follow specific food service policies and procedures to ensure customer and employee safety.Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.Prepares coffee shop beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.Assist with catering services as needed.Work schedule will vary.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hoursAbility to demonstrate a welcoming and smiling demeanorAbility to communicate effectivelyAttention to professionalismSt Charles Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer
