Physical Therapist PRNThe Physical Therapist PRN plays a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients on an as-needed basis across various healthcare settings. This position focuses on evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. The therapist collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the PRN role requires responding to fluctuating patient volumes and diverse clinical environments. Ultimately, the Physical Therapist PRN contributes to enhancing patients' quality of life through expert therapeutic interventions and compassionate support.Minimum Qualifications:Licensed Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice within the United States.Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Demonstrated clinical experience in physical therapy practice.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a PRN capacity.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in diverse clinical settings such as outpatient, inpatient, or home health environments.Additional certifications such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS).Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation software.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams.Flexibility to work varied shifts and locations as needed.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to address patient impairments and functional limitations.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide patient and family education on therapy goals and home exercise programs.Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, ethical standards, and organizational policies during patient care delivery.
