Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to enhance well-being following a plan of care under supervision. Responsibilities Follow state laws and the supervising PT's treatment plan, performing only qualified procedures and suggesting changes when necessary. Assist patients with exercises, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training. Monitor and report patient responses and condition changes, coordinating care with healthcare team members. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members within scope of practice. Adapt to diverse home environments, providing care regardless of patient background. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure or certification in physical therapy assistance. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit. Availability for weekend shifts. Preferred: CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and mobility assistance.
