Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in the vibrant North Hollywood and Burbank area. We’re seeking a dedicated educator for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, who is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and empowering all learners. This contract-based position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 35 hours weekly, allowing you to focus on your students’ growth and well-being.

You will work closely with either a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload or in a 4th/5th grade mild/moderate classroom, playing a vital role in guiding students toward their educational goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver instruction and support in inclusive and resource settings
• Partner with classroom teachers, specialists, and families for student success
• Collect data to inform instructional adjustments and track progress
• Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
