Position We’re seeking a Field Technician – Air Quality and Emissions for our Warren office. This full‑time, permanent position involves working outdoors and traveling to various locations, including remote wilderness areas. You will support air testing projects and collaborate with a close‑knit, technically skilled team. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute technical aspects of air testing projects. Operate and maintain both cutting‑edge and traditional equipment. Consolidate data and generate reports with support from teammates. Travel to multiple locations, from bustling cities to remote sites. Work comfortably at heights (rooftops, towers, other elevated structures) using state‑of‑the‑art gear and training. Collaborate closely with team members, contributing to problem solving and success celebration. Stay current on industry advancements, attending conferences, seminars, and training programs. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Environmental Technology or Instrumentation Technology. Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in the Air Quality field (preferred). Ambient monitoring experience is an asset. Strong computer and analytical technical “hands‑on” skills. Practical problem‑solving aptitude. Field/site experience is a definite asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong people and team skills, highly motivated. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Exceptional organizational, coordination, and consultation skills. Willingness to travel, work outdoors, including long hours, evenings, and weekends. Capability to collect samples at heights and in all weather conditions. Physical ability to perform manual tasks. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
