Senior Manager Transportation, Fleet Backhaul

Job DescriptionJob Summary:Responsible for managing and growing Walgreens backhaul program to reduce empty miles for our private fleet and dedicated carriers. This role will serve as the lead for new backhaul RFPs, renegotiating current allowances/CPU agreements, capacity reports, and billing/auditing functionalities. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.Interacts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and or stakeholders.
