Litigation Associate

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Compensation: $120K to $140K DOE

Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time, Hybrid

LHH is partnering with a well‑respected regional law firm in Las Vegas, NV that handles a broad range of litigation matters, including business, employment, general liability, and professional liability. The firm is seeking a 1 to 3 year Associate to support senior attorneys on active cases and gain hands‑on litigation experience in a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for an attorney in the early stages of their career who is looking to develop strong litigation, writing, and courtroom skills. The ideal candidate will assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation, while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced litigators.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing a litigation caseload involving business, employment, general liability, and/or professional liability matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery responses, and motions under supervision
• Support discovery efforts, including document review, organization, and preparation of deposition materials
• Assist with drafting and responding to motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances as appropriate
• Help prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and trial notebooks
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to support effective case strategy and advocacy

Qualifications:

• Active member of the State Bar of Nevada and in good standing
• 1 ton 3 years of litigation experience (clerkship experience may be considered)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with discovery processes and basic motion practice
• Desire to grow litigation skills and take on increasing responsibility over time
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
