Senior Tactical Buying Services Analyst

Salary: $63,000 - 72,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in negotiation, sourcing, and contract management.
• Preferred experience with indirect purchasing commodities such as building supplies, cutting tools, die supplies, electrical products, engineering services, indirect products, or industrial suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SAP.
• Strong spoken and written English skills at B2 level or higher; another European language is an advantage.
• Demonstrated negotiation capability.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including handling complex issues.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Develop and manage key suppliers through strategic sourcing and end-to-end commodity management for assigned indirect purchasing categories.
• Track program schedules, supplier lead times, and supplier capacity.
• Find and deliver savings through competitive bids, eAuctions, electronic catalogs, blanket contracts, commodity planning, opportunity assessments, business intelligence, and spend analytics.
• Achieve cost-savings targets, contribute to process improvements, and meet key performance indicators.
• Route low-value and emergency purchase requests to our remotely based Transactional Purchasing Services team.
• Work with stakeholders to build commodity expertise and sourcing strategies informed by market developments, pricing, and technology trends.
• Lead the purchasing sourcing process, from bid-list selection and RFQ preparation through negotiations, supplier selection, approvals, contract or purchase order issuance, and required documentation.
• Ensure sourcing activities, contracts, and purchase order transactions follow our corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
• Address and resolve commercial issues with suppliers.
• Coordinate with and support other buyers as needed.
