Locums Neuro Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Aleading healthcare system in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Locums Neuro CriticalCare Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time coverage in a high-acuityneurocritical care environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experiencedICU or neurocritical care provider who is comfortable managing critically illneurological patients and participating in stroke response and ICU-level care. The provider will workcollaboratively with an established team of neurocritical care physicians,APPs, and support staff within a busy academic medical center setting. Compensation $130 Per Hour Position Details Assignment Type: Full-timelocums coverage Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Types: Days, nights,and weekends required Shift Hours: Day Shift: 6:30 AM –6:30 PM Night Shift: 6:30 PM –6:30 AM Call Requirements: None Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neurocritical caremanagement for ICU patients Participate in stroke code evaluations andacute neurological assessments Perform daily patient rounding, admissions,and follow-up care Assist in the management of critically illneurological and stroke patients Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs,nursing staff, and multidisciplinary ICU teams Maintain accurate and timely clinicaldocumentation within the EMR system Preferred Skills & Experience Neurocritical care or ICU experiencestrongly preferred Comfort with stroke codes highly preferred ICU procedural experience preferred,including exposure to bedside critical care procedures Strong cri tical thinking and acute patientmanagement skills Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitionerprogram Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required Active New Jersey license preferred Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certificationpreferred Prior ICU or neurocritical care experiencestrongly preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required #J-18808-Ljbffr Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.
