Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is hiring a Sales Field Representative who can cover the Chicago, IL area. The ideal candidate has Field Sales Rep experience to grocery chain stores in consumer goods industry.

• Location to cover: the Chicago, IL area - Primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for their assigned areas
• Direct Hire with Great Benefit (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K etc)
• Salary range: $25.50~29.50/hr
• Mileage reimbursement
• Work Schedule: Mon, Thurs & Fri from 7:00am - 4:00pm, Sat & Sun from 8:00am - 5:00pm. (Tues & Wed off)

Requirements of the Sales Field Representative:

High school diploma or GED

Able to work flexible schedule as needed. Schedule will require weekends and possibly overtime, and schedule may change each week.

Must have 3+ years of field sales experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Field Sales experience in Food / Beverage industry is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
• Experience in the food/beverage industry is preferred. Experience with consumer goods a plus.
• Ability to drive from site to site throughout a regular shift under the kind of driving conditions encountered in your geographic territory.
• Must have Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with valid Auto Insurance
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with no restrictions.
• Computer literacy, and ability to proficiently navigate the Internet, Windows, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
• Must be able to work with little supervision and have ability to be a self-starter.
• Must be a team player and take initiative.
• Willingness to travel (75% or more)

Responsibilities of the Sales Field Representative:

• Manage an assigned territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery store managers, dairy managers, and retail personnel.
• Conduct regular store visits to support sales, merchandising, brand awareness, and in-store promotions.
• Train and support product demonstrators and evaluate demonstration effectiveness.
• Negotiate product placement, additional displays, and cooler locations to maximize visibility and sales.
• Monitor inventory, rotate stock, maintain shelf conditions, and ensure retail compliance standards.
• Educate retailers and consumers on product features, benefits, and marketing programs.
• Complete field surveys, store reports, photo documentation, and other required administrative tasks.
• Support product demonstrations, sampling events, deliveries, and special projects as needed.
• Travel within and outside the assigned territory, including occasional overnight trips.
• Communicate regularly with management and attend required meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support company goals and business objectives.
