Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the Portland area. This role involves floating between units based on clinical needs, with on-call responsibilities, including standby and weekend shifts. The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards, providing expert perioperative care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Education Requirements: Valid State License; compact license accepted if applicable
• Experience: At least 2 years of OR experience required, with a minimum of 1 year in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Location Requirements: Candidate must have a valid license in the state of Oregon and be within 50 miles of the facility
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours
• Additional Information:
  • Must have experience with heavy orthopedic and spine surgeries, including total joints, arthroscopic procedures, and spine fusions.
  • Circulating RN and Scrub RN experience required, with strong skills in orthopedic, spine, and general surgeries.
  • Must be able to work 3 of the 5 major holidays and adhere to specific scheduling requests made upfront.
  • Candidates need to respond to pre-submission questions about prior experience at similar facilities and provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
