Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff to ensure efficient operations.Collaborate with Department Managers to implement and evaluate practices aimed at continuous improvement.Analyze equipment-related issues and facilitate communication between maintenance and other staff.Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.Monitor inventories of packaging, ingredients, and finished products to meet production needs.Enforce sanitation procedures and verify compliance.Ensure adherence to Plant GMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Conduct sensory testing on finished products.Document activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.Oversee training and evaluation of new staff members.Manage scheduling and cover staff vacancies as needed per SOP.Communicate effectively with all levels of management and other departments.Basic Requirements:A bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or any related field is preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of operational leadership experience in food manufacturing.Experience in the dairy industry is preferredMust know Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) procedures.Experience in writing and developing SOPs.Background in food or beverage sanitation.Familiarity with High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) processing.Competencies:CommunicationCommunicate clearly and effectively through multiple channels – oral, written, visual, and non-verbal – ensuring our messages are understood and delivered appropriately, whether in-person or digitally.AccountabilityTake responsibility for actions and anticipate challenges before they arise.Solve problems both within and outside of departments, proactively addressing issues as they occur.Customer FocusedPrioritize understanding and meeting both internal and external customer needs.Ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty by anticipating customer requirements and striving for exceptional service.InitiativeProactive in identifying opportunities and addressing potential threats.Act independently and decisively, rather than waiting for situations to demand action.Problem-SolvingPossess the ability to identify and address complex issues with minimal guidance.Skilled at analyzing challenges and finding practical, effective solutions.CollaborationTake responsibility for deliverables while also supporting others to ensure that collective goals are met.Able to work harmoniously with others toward a common goal, recognizing and valuing each person's contributions, is fundamental to successful collaboration.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
