Lake City has crystal-clear freshwater springs, rocking music festivals, history, culture, paddling and biking.This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.Salary and BenefitsHourly Rate - $29.92-$44.88Night diff – $3.25Weekend diff - $2.00Shift available – 7pm- 7am NightsHealth Insurance - plans include prescription drug and behavioral health coverage as well as telemedicine services and free AirMed medical transportationPaid Vacation DaysBonus - $15,000 paid on first check with 2-year commitmentPaid Sick TimePaid HolidaysHealth savings account401(k) Plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service)Long term/short term disabilityLife InsuranceFull support staffResponsibilitiesAssesses plans and evaluates patient care needs.Carries out physician orders.Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.Provides respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.Instructs and educates patients and families.Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Provides age and culturally appropriate care.Orients and mentors new staff members.Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.RequirementsAssociate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required.Current State of Florida license for Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure.
