Allied / Tech - Surgical Tech
Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance is seeking a travel surgical tech. The shift is from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with five shifts per week for a total of 40 scheduled hours. The start date is ASAP, and the duration is 13 weeks. Experience in neuro is a plus, and on-call plus rotation is required, including one Saturday shift per week. The traveler will need to float to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro. The facility is an acute care hospital with 356 staffed beds and offers free parking. The scrub color is any color, and the charting system is Epic.
Required certifications include BLS and NBSTSA. Skills required include abdominal hysterectomy, abdominoplasty, ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion), and more. The traveler must commit to working three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). The CA license must be in hand, and the candidate must disclose any license/BG hits up front. References required: two references covering one year within the last three years.
