Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting. This seasonal contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and technologically advanced unit for a 13-week duration.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonates, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment such as medfusion pumps, alaris, and GE monitors.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code (navy scrubs), and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of current Level 3 NICU experience.
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care.
• Ability to work diverse shifts, including nights, with flexibility on weekends.
• Compassionate, outgoing, and friendly personality.
• Must meet all facility-specific credential requirements, including BLS and NRP certifications.
