****************************Any Visa is fine********************** Title: Embedded C Developer Location: Englewood, CO (Onsite) Conditions: 5+ years of embedded C development on Linux-based platforms. Onsite in Englewood, CO. Strong hands-on experience with OpenWrt/OpenSync is required. Experience with Linux networking and LTE/5G cellular integration is required. Experience with cloud-managed CPE/residential gateway platforms preferred. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and debug embedded C software for Linux-based residential gateway platforms using ARM/MIPS SoCs. Develop and maintain OpenSync managers and event-driven daemons interacting with OVSDB. Implement LTE/5G cellular failover and fallback logic, modem management, route arbitration, and WAN health checks. Develop LED state-machine logic for multi-WAN connectivity scenarios. Integrate cellular modems using AT commands, QMI/MBIM, USB, and PCIe/MHI. Work with Qualcomm, Broadcom, and Atheros WiFi drivers for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz configurations. Debug kernel-level issues including PCIe enumeration, USB management, driver crashes, and kernel panics. Implement secure communication channels using TLS/mTLS, X.509 certificates, GRE, and IPsec. Analyze field issues using device logs, crash dumps, and remote diagnostics. Develop OpenWrt init scripts, UCI configuration handlers, and persistent storage management. Write unit tests and participate in GitLab merge request/code review processes. Collaborate with hardware, QA, cloud platform, and service provider teams. Mandatory Skills: Strong Embedded C programming including pointers, memory management, IPC, and event-driven design. 5+ years of embedded C development on Linux. OpenWrt build system, package management, UCI configuration, and JFFS2/SquashFS. OpenSync, OVSDB, protobuf, and MQTT telemetry. Linux internals and embedded Linux debugging. LTE/5G cellular modem integration using AT commands, QMI/MBIM, and rmnet/wwan. Strong Linux networking knowledge including routing, metrics, netfilter, bridges, IPv4/IPv6, DHCPv4/DHCPv6, SLAAC, and prefix delegation. TLS/mTLS, X.509 certificates, certificate validation, and secure provisioning. GRE, IPsec, VPN overlays, and secure encapsulation. Event-loop frameworks such as libev, libuv, or similar. GDB, strace, tcpdump, kernel logs, serial console, and related debugging tools. Git, GitLab CI/CD, and cross-compilation toolchains. WiFi standards and wireless driver configuration. C, Shell scripting, and Python for test automation. OpenWrt/Linux 5.x/6.x and ARM-based embedded platforms. Nice to Have: Qualcomm IPQ series SoCs, including IPQ5018/IPQ9574, and NSS/PPE data path. Broadcom BCM chipsets and hardware acceleration. Atheros/QCA/BCM wireless chipsets and CFG80211/mac80211. DOCSIS cable modem and WAN interface management. PCIe and USB subsystem experience in embedded Linux. eSIM/eUICC provisioning and GSMA SGP.22. Carrier aggregation, NR5G NSA/SA, and multi-band cellular configurations. TR-069/TR-369 (USP) and TR-181. Kconfig-based build configuration. Flash storage, wear leveling, persistent partitions, and factory reset flows. Thermal and power management. Hardware bring-up and BSP development.
