Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule
Nights, rotating weekends

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS
- AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications
- Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE
- Required: 2 years of labor experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, postpartum care of mother and newborn
- Epic proficiency required
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs.
- Assist in delivery and immediate postpartum care for mother and newborn.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor processes, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be able to travel for work assignments at multiple points of care.
- No excessive RTO will be approved.
