Contract | Full-Time | Days (3x12, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips — this is a hard-stop requirement for this position
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:3–4
• Float to Telemetry or Medical/Surgical floors when the unit is overstaffed, as travelers are first to float
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day; candidates may select either Thanksgiving or Christmas but not both

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
• Cardiac drip titration and management experience is required
• Active RN license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under a separate rate structure)
• Every-other-weekend availability required
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center setting
