Physician / Hospitalist / Hawaii / Permanent / Physician - Hospitalist -Pediatric in Hawaii Job

• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, schedule TBD
• Job Setting: Community hospital
• Type of Cases:Locumsshould be comfortable in doing neonatal resuscitation which includes endotracheal intubation, LMA insertion, umbilical catheterizations, IV insertion, lumbar puncture, neonatal circumcision.Managing neonatal and pediatric conditions like sepsis, RDS/respiratory conditions, hypoglycemia, dehydration, GI diseases, etc.Deliveries, problematic/complicated vaginal deliveries, neonatal consultations, rounding while on call.Should always be available for ER consults, ER admissions to Peds, phone consultations from outlying physicians.
• Credentialing: Typically takes 1-2 months. Can be rushed for candidates with clean backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

• Board Certified in Pediatrics,NRP, PALS, BLS
• Licensure: Hawaii - active licensure preferred but VISTA is willing to pursue licensure for the right candidate.
