Registered Nurse – Cardiology

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS): Required
• Minimum of two years recent experience in the nursing field: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities:

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Implements patient care plans and evaluates the progress towards attaining outcomes.
• Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing safe and effective patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
