Contract Engineer

As a contract engineer, you will play an integral role within Client’s in-house agency Creative Center (C2), in helping to contribute and execute on our marketing and business partners’ vision. The target candidate helps to ensure the best quality for our consumers, collaborate on the strategic vision and path for digital marketing to support the overall business, and develop a best-in-class customer experience.

Above all else you’re a full stack engineer – with backend but in this role an emphasis on the front end. You solve problems through careful examination and look for ways to scale and use automation.

You’re curious and hungry to learn new things and look to make a long-lasting impact on the project. The ideal candidate is a self starter who partners well with others and would be able to work with various platforms to deliver optimized experiences based on data, best practices, and apply Client standards. You are a good communicator who works well across departments including business, marketing, creative, and other technical teams.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Working with the product owner, technical program manager, and peers to design, modify, maintain, and support software applications and components along while ensuring applications are compliant with regulatory, architectural, and Client standards.
• Work with the team to help facilitate code releases, scans, and release management work seamlessly.
• Understanding business use cases and how they apply across our code and applications.
• Configure and manage PCF applications.
• Configure and manage monthly application scans.

Additional Job Details:

• 100% remote position does not have to be in the Austin area but would be preferred.
• MUST HAVES:
• Strong experience of backend and front-end development (JavaScript, Angular) Working testing experience (Mabl, Zephyr) Experience with DevOps technologies ie. Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins Enterprise-related technology experience in application development of.NET Core
• Strong knowledge and working experience with web services (REST) Experience and strong fundamental knowledge in one or more types of database management systems like SQL Server, Entity Framework, etc. (write queries from scratch, complex table joins as needed) Strong communication, facilitation, and motivational skills, with the ability to build rapport and grow consensus with scrum team members, peers, and partners in other groups
