divh2CNC Lathe Machinist 1st Shift/h2pCNC Lathe Machinist 1st Shift/ppMinneapolis, MN 55448/pp$25.00-$33.00/hr/ppFullTime/ph3Job Description/h3pAbout the Opportunity:/ppJob Title: CNC Lathe Machinist/ppPay Rate Range: $25.00-$33.00/hr/ppLocation: Minneapolis, MN/ppSchedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM and Friday 6AM-10:30AM/ppPosition Type: Direct Hire/ppRequirements and Qualifications:/pp3-4 years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience required./ppHigh School Diploma or Equivalent./ppMust be able to handle the full cycle: Programming, Setup, and Operation./ppFamiliarity with Doosan and Kitamura machines is a major plus./ppAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., though hoists are available and used frequently./ppDuties and Responsibilities:/ppCalculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers./ppMeasure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers./ppSet up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations./ppProgram computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools./ppStudy sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products./ppMonitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process./ppMaintain machine tools in proper operational condition./ppAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines./ppDiscover Award Staffing:/ppAt Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheckit should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
