We are looking for a Part-time Retail Merchandiser to grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers, working up to 30 hours per week (with extra hours during the holiday season). We seek team members who are passionate about merchandising, enjoy interacting with customers and store management, and want to drive results. The Opportunity As a Part-time Retail Merchandiser, you’ll develop relationships with store teams, act as a brand ambassador, secure prime product placements, manage product unpacking and merchandising, construct and deconstruct store fixtures, implement point-of-purchase materials, execute special projects such as store events, complete reports, train and lead team associates, provide business insights, and perform administrative tasks including managing expenses, attending meetings, training, checking email, and more. Basic Job Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED; some college preferred Available to work daytime hours during the week; occasional weekends Reliable internet access Reliable transportation to travel between assigned store locations Reside within approximately 20 miles of Scottsdale, AZ 85032 or otherwise able to reliably service the assigned territory Physical Requirements Stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach Walk for long periods of time Climb ladders up to 12 feet tall Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally Push/pull carts containing product—occasionally up to 100 pounds Operate power tools (screwdriver & drill) About You Merchandising experience (preferred, but not required) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Develop strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation skills Represent the brand with professionalism and a positive attitude Prioritization of work with strong time management and a sense of urgency Self‑motivated with a bias for action and resourceful decision making Eagerness to learn new skills with a safety‑first mentality Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, iPads, and apps) Pay Range The base hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00. The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range; base pay will be determined based on location, skills, and experience.
