This position begins as a part-time role focused primarily on weekend operations but has the potential to transition into a full-time position as our needs expand. Because we navigate a dynamic environment, absolute schedule flexibility and mandatory weekend availability are non-negotiable requirements for this role.Essential Job Responsibilities:Provide Clerical SupportOrganize office functions and flow of communication.Edit written documents to ensure correct spelling and grammar.Maintain office supplies and identify needed supplies to supervisor.Collect all rent and service fees by designated date and ensure deposit in bank, as specified by supervisor.Maintain reservations for guest room.Assist staff in providing and coordinating services to residents, families, prospects, and guests.Answer telephones and respond to residents' requests.Assist with resident activities, as requested.Assist in dining room, as needed.Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, community operations and personnel.Other duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Other RequiredHigh School diploma or equivalent desirablePerform mathematical calculations accurately and at a 12th grade levelProficiency in keyboard and data entry skills and ability to use ten-key calculator (preferably by touch)Reading, comprehension and writing ability at 12th grade level or higherKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredKnowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment: FAX machine, calculator, photocopier, telephone, computer, and printerRepetitive motion with use of computer and typingPromote teamwork in providing services to residents.Extended sitting for up to 2-3 hoursKnowledge of or willingness and ability to learn computer programs used in this communityExcellent customer service skillsOrganizational skillsPreferred QualificationsWillingness to learn and help othersEnjoyment in working with older adultsPerks and Benefits:Birthday & Anniversary PTOPTO accrual on Day ONEReferral BonusPay Advance ProgramGenerous benefit offerings to include: Medical/ Dental/Vision/ Accident/ STD/LTDEmployer paid Life policyFree meal during certain shifts
