Social Media and Digital Content Internship in Fashion - YINAN (Midtown, NYC)

Located in the heart of NYC’s Garment District. YINAN is a ready-to-wear and couture collection that frames dressing as an act of self-empowerment. Founded by Anna Zhou in 2020, YINAN carries the designer’s given name, translating to “a precious piece of art.”

Exquisite materials, precise detailing, and meticulous craftsmanship define YINAN’s collections across ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry. Through bold, avant-garde proportions and nuanced explorations of identity and emotion, each piece is conceived as a study in narrative and form, articulating a modern vision of strength and intimacy.

We are inviting NYC-based, on-site fashion interns to join our Manhattan atelier in shaping a collection defined by intention, refinement, and artistry.

You’ll Gain:

• Hands-on experience shaping the digital voice of a NYFW runway brand
• Direct involvement in Sept 2026 NYFW runway and presentation content
• Insight into creator and influencer partnerships, and how they drive a designer label's growth
• Exposure to shoppable social commerce and content-to-sales strategy
• A published portfolio of video, photo, and campaign work under a designer label
• Mentorship from a small, fast-paced team working across creative and production
• Academic credit or portfolio-building experience

Requirements:

• Strong video editing skills & photo retouching skills, with attention to detail and color
• Skilled in Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Experience in photography and on-set production support
• Solid understanding of the luxury marketplace and its competitors
• Strong research ability and a genuine passion for social media and visual marketing
• Highly organized, self-directed, and a good written and verbal communicator
• Willingness to learn new programs, take initiative, and carry and set up equipment as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Media, or a related field
• Experience growing a brand or account on Instagram or TikTok is a plus

• Unpaid : For credit or portfolio experience
• Interns must be available a minimum of 24 hours per week (3 business days)
