Software Engineer – Summary FinancialsWe are seeking experienced Software Engineer with a passion for delivering high impact operational and analytical customer data solutions that integrate across a large organization. In this role, you will build and modernize the API, business rules, and database layers of our Unified Customer Profile (UCP) platform. You will also apply a variety of cloud-native (AWS and Snowflake) technologies to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. This position is a critical element to delivering Fidelity’s promise of creating the best customer experiences in financial services.You will be joining the Summary Financials team which provides value by redefining core financial profile data assets into a single point of reference for trusted, customer-grain financial profile data. This data becomes integrated, analyzed and used by other product areas, processes and applications.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related)5+ years of experience in application and REST API development using JavaShown experience architecting and writing microservices with JavaStrong in leading API to database connection management using different database drivers - Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elastic search, Graph DB, etc.)Experience with DevOps or CI/CD Pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash, Ansible, etc.
