Job Description:\n\nDescription:\nAs part of Manufacturing Quality (MQ) leadership, performs investigations on customer complaints, \ndeviations and holds. Performs inspections for troubleshooting and training purposes. Works within the \ndepartment and with operations and manufacturing support personnel to solve problems and deal with \nmanufacturing quality issues as they occur, making recommendations for immediate corrective action \nwhen necessary to ensure optimum product quality. Inspects in-process materials, finished products, \nincoming raw materials, Packaging lines, Processing lines, etc. Works with the MQ Manager to \nimplement cGMP policies and holding quality standards.Requirements:\n \nOURS : Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6pm-630am\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n • Coordinates all inspection activities on the respective shift, including dispositioning of materials.\n • Conducts and documents investigations as necessary.\n • Oversees and monitors the day-to-day operation of assigned area(s) including workflow,\n management of work in process, job assignments, rotations, etc. to ensure smooth flow and\n efficient production.\n • Implements quality and process improvement initiatives in conjunction with quality and\n operations personnel.\n • Develops, recommends, and implements systems, processes, activities to improve inspection\n and sampling productivity on all shifts.\n • Ensures the availability of adequate materials and supplies necessary to conduct sampling and\n inspections.\n • Conducts current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and on-the-job training of MQ\n personnel and operations personnel where applicable.\n • Assists with customer complaint investigations.\n • Conducts internal audits for cGMP compliance as needed.\n • Performs inspections, as necessary.\n • Performs root cause analysis (RCA) on manufacturing holds/deviations.\n • Provides long term preventative action measures for manufacturing deviations / holds.\n • Assists Packaging and Processing departments with troubleshooting and resolving daily issues.\n • Coordinates the implementation of rework with production personnel and tracks the status of\n lots that are on HINV status.\n • Tracks deviations and holds and ensures timely completion.\n • Reviews and updates departmental standard operating procedure to assure cGMP compliance.\n 1\n NOW Health Group, Inc.\n Job Description\n • Ensures that polices, safety rules, FSMA standards and GMP’s are followed and enforced and\n that continual improvement is made towards an injury free environment.\n • Actively participates in root cause analysis and other continuous improvement initiatives.\n Recommends and implements continuous improvement ideas.\n • Ensures key performance indicators in the manufacturing quality area are met or exceeded.\n Measures productivity on a daily basis, with goal of meeting standards.\n • Supports positive employee relations, fair treatment and respect in all aspects of interaction\n with employees; address employee concerns/requests in a timely and caring manner; ensures\n all employees and ideas are respected and valued and their unique and diverse perspectives are\n leveraged to improve business results.\n • Actively engages in the performance of his/her team through setting objectives and measuring\n performance.
