As an Accountant, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across various operating departments. Your work directly supports the preparation of financial statements and tax returns, providing essential insights for the organization’s financial health. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Location: In-person Clark County, NV Mission: Ensure the accuracy of financial records and support the timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns for the organization. What You’ll Actually Do Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and tax returns for compliance and internal reporting. General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper classification. Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations and diligently maintain comprehensive depreciation records. Data Integrity: Review financial information supplied by various operating departments to confirm accuracy. Asset & Compliance Support: Enter fixed asset data into the financial system and prepare and maintain tax and license records. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Accounting. Experience: Entry-level experience in an Accounting or Finance-related capacity. Skills: Proficiency in preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements; professional appearance and demeanor.
