IT Support Administrator

Location: Tupelo, MS
Pay: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Administrator to provide hands-on technical support to employees and assist with the company’s computer systems, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support through service desk tickets, phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, workstation, and network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, image, and maintain computers, laptops, tablets, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft Office and other business applications.
• Create and maintain Active Directory user and computer accounts.
• Assist with VPN accounts, conference room technology, and video conferencing systems.
• Support network and systems teams with equipment installation, maintenance, testing, and onsite infrastructure projects.
• Perform network troubleshooting involving DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with server room and IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and technical documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account and equipment management.
• Follow IT security standards and protect confidential company information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Windows environments, Active Directory, networking, and IT systems.
• Microsoft, A+, Server+, Network+, or Security+ certifications are preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical support requests.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Pay: $22.00–$30.00/hour based on experience.
