This job plays a key role in executing our company's purpose statement: We build community by bringing people together in the neighborhoods where they live.What you'll accomplish:Daily upkeep of the community grounds and facilitiesGeneral cleaning and removing trash on a dedicated routeSweeping or hosing off community areas daily and as needed after rentalEnsuring areas around the dumpsters are clearOperating within OSHA standards and company safety policiesMaintaining inventory of supplies / equipment needed to perform dutiesExecuting additional tasks as requiredWhat we're looking for:High school diploma or equivalentMust be 18 years oldAt least 2 years of grounds keeping / maintenance experienceSkills in carpentry, HVAC, electric, plumbing and other building tradesExperience in landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenanceMust be organized, efficient and have the ability to recognize the level of quality acceptable to keep facilities looking their bestAbility to communicate with residents, managers and peers in an effective wayFlexibility to work after-hours and weekendsProblem solving skillsValid Driver's License and a clean driving historyMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physicalIf driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver's license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.Driving : Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions.
