Key Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license
• Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification
• Experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and interpret results to inform intervention plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Support classroom staff with strategies and modifications to maximize student participation
