Job Description

• Lead and oversee operations across multiple projects, regions, or business units.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and profitability goals.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to Operations Managers, Project Executives, Superintendents, and Project Managers.
• Drive accountability for project performance, safety, quality, scheduling, and financial outcomes.
• Monitor project portfolios and proactively address operational risks and challenges.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on workforce planning, market expansion, and business initiatives.
• Review project financials, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and best practices.
• Support recruiting, succession planning, and leadership development efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Foster a culture focused on teamwork, performance, and exceptional client service.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the construction industry.
• Proven success managing large-scale commercial, industrial, concrete, or self-perform construction operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing project portfolios, budgets, and P&L performance.
• Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational execution.
• Experience driving process improvement and organizational growth initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support operations and business objectives.
