Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Location: Gurnee, IL 60031-1621 Pay range: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour. Full‑time, shifts may vary. Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for members, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise, and ensuring members receive fresh products. You will juggle multiple tasks and help customers with bakery orders, contributing to an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes. Wrap, label, and store merchandise to maintain freshness. Keep member satisfaction as the top priority. Tackle obstacles proactively and adapt quickly to change. Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, and verify expiration dates; dispose of lower‑quality food. Serve ready‑to‑eat food on the sales floor, handle claims and returns, and zone the area. Sanitize and keep the area ready for members. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, collaborate, educate associates, communicate effectively, and adapt to business needs. Be an Expert: Prepare food per specifications, plan production, adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain compliance, inventory management, and operating equipment. Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, and guide peers. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, and exhibit energy and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate, prioritize, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.
