Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Prosecution Associate specializing in Chemistry for its New York City, NY office. The successful candidate will work on innovative technologies for leading clients, leveraging their technical and legal expertise to provide strategic advice. Duties Conduct patent prosecution for small molecule and pharmaceutical technologies. Collaborate with a team of attorneys to address intellectual property issues. Engage with clients to understand and address their legal needs. Perform detailed legal analysis and provide strategic advice. Requirements 1-3 years of experience as a Prosecution Attorney. Active membership in the state bar with compliance to CLE requirements. Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Education PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field. Certifications Registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Skills Strong analytical skills for complex legal analysis.
