Our client is looking to hire a confident, compassionate, highly organized family law attorney who thrives in fast-paced litigation, genuinely cares about clients, and can independently move cases forward without constant supervision.This person is not just "book smart." They are proactive, emotionally intelligent, technologically capable, and comfortable standing in front of a judge advocating for clients during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Experience :

• 1-3 years of family law litigation experience

• Comfortable drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, stipulations, and discovery demands/responses

• Has independently handled:

• Court appearances

• Conferences

• Motions

• Preliminary hearings

• Client intake and case strategy discussions

• Familiar with high-conflict custody, support, divorce, and family offense matters

• Personality Traits Outgoing, Personable, Independent Thinker, Emotionally Intelligent

• Builds rapport quickly with clients

• Makes clients feel heard and protected

• Comfortable speaking in court and negotiating with opposing counsel

• Naturally confident communicator

• Assertive but professional

• Not intimidated by conflict

• Understands clients hire attorneys to advocate, not simply process paperwork

• Able to remain calm under pressure

• Problem-solves before escalating issues

• Can manage deadlines and workflow without hand holding

• Takes ownership of files

• Anticipates issues instead of reacting to them

• Understands the emotional nature of family law

• Can de-escalate difficult client situations

• Maintains professionalism even with difficult opposing parties/counsel

Must Be Comfortable With:

• Microsoft Word

• Excel

• PDF editing software

• Slack communication

• AI tools such as Claude

• Electronic filing systems

• Digital document management

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Clio Case Management system helpful but not required

• Comfortable learning and implementing firm systems and SOPs

• Open to using automation and AI to improve efficiency
