We’re now looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in network protection, intrusion detection, and security architecture for complex infrastructures. Network Security Engineer Job Responsibilities As a Network Security Engineer at EhsanLab, you will: Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches. Monitor network traffic for unusual or malicious activity using IDS/IPS and SIEM tools. Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks. Manage endpoint and perimeter defense solutions to ensure strong protection against internal and external threats. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce network access control policies and security baselines. Develop and maintain network security documentation, configurations, and incident response plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and CBE standards. Stay updated with the latest network security trends, tools, and threat intelligence to proactively enhance defense strategies. Required Qualifications To qualify for this role, you should bring: 2–5 years of professional experience in network security engineering or related cybersecurity roles. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or Network Engineering (or equivalent). Hands‑on experience with: Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, Zeek) VPN and secure remote access configurations Network vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Nmap) SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack) Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching fundamentals. Familiarity with cloud network security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Recognized certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP (plus).
