We are currently looking for a Service and Installation Supervisor to join our team in the Florida Panhandle area.Location: RemoteJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: FixedOvertime: YesFLSA Status: Non-ExemptTravel: Yes, within West side of regionRequirementsHire and train personnel on service, installation processes, and proceduresProvide leadership to Connect Fiber Optic TechniciansEnsure all field personnel are outfitted with necessary tools and equipmentEnsure proper processes are in place for maintaining all tools and equipmentEnsure proper inventory management practices are in place for CPE, service and installation materialsOversee drivers of company fleet and provide leadership of proper vehicle usage and maintenanceManage service technician schedulingDevelop and maintain service and install reporting/dashboards as needed.Complete EOD reporting requirementsManage storm restoration service processDevelop and maintain process for damage notificationsManage service trouble tickets and drop restoration process.Assist OSP Construction department with troubleshooting as needed.Troubleshoot from the home to the tap.Manage Connect commercial installationsManage commercial install technicians are properly trained and equipped.Manage commercial install schedules and dispatchAssist with management of Connect Complete projectsBuild/maintain positive business relationships with our co-op clients.Travel to co-op clients as needed.Ensure service technicians assist Conexon Project Managers & Maintenance Managers troubleshoot issues in the field when needed.Work together with Connect Sales/Marketing team & Co-op clients to determine causes of low performance & provide feedback on how to increase sales & penetration ratesAssist with escalated customer complaints/issues as requiredSupport RDOF regulatory field verificationAdditional responsibilities as assignedRequired QualificationsHighschool diploma required (College degree preferred)3 years' experience in fiber optic ISP operations/construction fieldStrong P.C. and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRsSafely operate a company vehicleStrong communication skillsInitiative to work remotely with limited supervisionStrong leadership skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to walk long distances on a regular basisAbility to bend stoop kneel crouch or reach as required by job tasks etc.Standard Company Benefits IncludeThree (3) weeks of paid time offComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverageLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insuranceRetirement benefitsConexon provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
