Royal Standard Retail Inventory AssociateThe Royal Standard Retail Inventory Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and restocking inventory for The Royal Standard merchandise and supplies. The Retail Inventory Associate's duties will take from 8 to 30 hours per week depending on the number of shipments received and the season.Essential functions:Counts all products and suppliesMaintains and updates records of store inventoryReceives store deliveriesResponsible for unloading store merchandise, new supplies and storing them appropriately.Restocks merchandise on sales floorReorganizes stock room to accommodate additional inventoryProcesses the return of defective itemsEnsures that the stockroom is clean and well organized and that all stored items are accounted forUtilizes TRS computer system to ensure inventory is accurateAssists in maintaining organization of stock on the sales floorAttends store meeting when requiredOther responsibilities as directedSupervisory responsibilities: nonePhysical demands:Shifts vary from regular day to eveningStock roomPhysical labor required on a regular basis such as walking, climbing, and lifting (up to 40 pounds without assistance, up to 200 pounds with assistance)Required education and experience:Exhibits strong leadership skillsPays close attention to detailPossesses strong organizational skillsCommunicates clearly and effectivelyExhibits excellent customer service skillsDemonstrates ability to think creatively and strategicallyManages time effectivelyWorks well with a teamExhibits strong problem-solving skillsMaintain a professional appearance and attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
