Automation Technician II: Maintenance, Repair & Upgrades

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the working condition of all distribution center automated mailing equipment and the safety of its use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setup the use of tools and equipment prior to production for optimum safety levels Intermediate troubleshooting, maintain, and repair automated mailing equipment Work with vendors and other internal groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability and minimize equipment downtime Train operations employees on proper use and basic maintenance of automation machines Submit reports and participate in weekly Tech calls Provide guidance and training to Automation Tech I employees Support in the update manuals and programs for automated equipment Work on in house automation projects with automation engineers Supports Automation Helpdesk Level 1 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum two year of experience in a similar role in manufacturing or automated distribution facility Intermediate Mechanical (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Electrical, and Computer Skills Basic understanding of industrial machines operating principles Experience/Ability to work with CMMS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
