Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Physicianto provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with serious andlife-limiting illnesses in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is an opportunityto work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to improve quality oflife, manage complex symptoms, and support patients and their familiesthroughout the course of illness.

The physician will provide palliative care consultations, evaluate andmanage complex symptoms, assist with goals-of-care discussions, and developindividualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, andthe medical team. Responsibilities may include pain and symptom management,advance care planning, end-of-life care, and coordination of care acrossappropriate settings.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonalskills, experience caring for medically complex adult patients, and acollaborative approach to working with physicians, advanced practice providers,nursing, social work, and other members of the care team.

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or another appropriate specialty
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA registration as required
