Housekeeping - Public Areas Attendant

Position Overview Public Areas Attendant – Housekeeping Team at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to maintain resort/hotel cleanliness. Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen. Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry. Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other items to guest rooms upon request. Perform duties of a room attendant when necessary. Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry. Assist room attendants with heavy lifting during spring or deep clean of rooms. Clean all public areas following department standard operating procedures. Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and deliver to appropriate locations. Always respond to guests and team members in a friendly, helpful manner. Qualifications Housekeeping experience is desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Strong time‑management skills. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. Effective communication skills. Physical ability to lift and move loads of up to 25 lbs and operate equipment weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces. Comfortable navigating corners and high places while operating spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters. Compensation $16.00 – $16.00 per hour.
