Direct Support Professional

Job Title
Hourly Pay Rate: $18.20 per hour
Status: Part Time, Non-Exempt
Job Duties
The successful candidate will work in individuals' homes and be expected to:
- Provide assistance and training to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community.
- Follow a care plan for social activities.
- Provide support with activities such as: cooking, cleaning, shopping, money management, personal hygiene and social activities.
- Assist with physical transfer within the home or to vehicle.
Certification and Education
Valid Driver's License and own transportation is required with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Be able to establish effective relationships and provide hands on care.
Be flexible and have good interpersonal skills.
Computer skills.
