Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to develop individualized care plans
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet each patient's unique needs and goals
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and follow infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or similar
- New graduates welcome to apply; experience in pediatrics or orthopedics is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work per diem/as-needed shifts and adapt to varying patient assignments
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) charting
- Skill in developing therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy techniques
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate approach to interacting with pediatric patients and their families
