Radiologic Technologist

Job Overview Role: Radiologic Technologist (RT) at UPMC‑GoHealth Urgent Care. Provide imaging services for patients at urgent care centers, support clinic operations, maintain equipment, ensure radiation safety, and record patient data. Responsibilities Perform and analyze patient x‑rays, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic images. Prepare patients, conduct interviews, record medical history, and take vital signs. Provide patient education on procedures and ensure comfort and safety. Collaborate with providers and medical assistants to determine imaging needs. Perform point‑of‑care testing as needed (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG). Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and submit repair tickets. Document procedures and results in electronic systems; manage medical records. Adhere to radiation safety protocols, apply ALARA principles. Assist with clinic operations, including patient flow and rooming. Qualifications High School Diploma required; graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program. Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
